Overview
Gaia is a business that produces art supplies made entirely from natural materials. By leaving out the preservatives, heavy metal toxins, solvents, synthetics, additives and fillers, their products are of the highest quality for their customers.
Approach
The original name for this business focused on representing a natural origin and including earth in it, the goal was to simplify the logo while still keeping this quality. The name Gaia is the Greek goddess of earth and a piece of nature is implemented within the name. In order to represent their products in a very natural way, the design centers around a time period that practiced the same values.

Takeaways
This project was an interesting process since it relates to a specific time period. Pulling inspiration from history lead me to deep dive into art throughout the years and the ways they could be implemented in design.
Further Ideation
With more time, I would've liked to create the shop page for the Gaia website and additional packaging for their products.
