Overview
CHRISTUS Children's celebrated their childhood patients with an inaugural Dreamlight Parade on March 18, 2025. Since many of their patients are bound to the hospital for extended periods of time, it's important to bring magical moments to them. Their patients watched the parade from their room windows as first responder vehicles and community partners lit up the night with a procession of lights and sirens. The public was also invited and encouraged to participate.
Approach
In collaboration with my creative team at The CE Group, I was given the special task of bringing the Dreamlight Parade to life. I wanted to imagine this through the eyes of the children who would be watching from above in their rooms. Inspired by the name from CHRISTUS Children's, I wanted a design that felt both comforting and magical: a glowing crescent moon floating outside a window, shining a light of love, hope, joy and imagination for the child looking out.
